Mock-up for "Hippie Made" Hope for Haiti Stocking

Katherine is going to Haiti next month on a mission. She's doing a special charity stocking on her Hyena Cart, with the proceeds going towards items for the children with whom she'll be working.

She asked if I would donate a Hyena Cart template for her special stocking and I am happy to do so!

Here's the mock-up of what it will look like.

Stocking at "Creative Mamas" Congo!

I've listed my adorable gnome images for our stocking tomorrow at Creative Mamas Congo!

My personal favorite is the gardening one (don't you love the little cartoon-ish gnome?!), followed closely by the Daddy Gnome. :)

Mockups for "zingee zou" part 2

lili liked the third mockup, but wanted to see it with the tendrils a bit more simple and a darker background.

First mock-up:
- Middle tendril removed; dark background

Second mock-up:
- Middle two tendrils removed; darker background than above

Mermaid Image for "The Enchanted Glen" Stocking!

I've been working on a mermaid image for our "Sur Le Mer/Mermaids" stocking this week at The Enchanted Glen and think it turned out rather nicely!

The image is in the public domain and is one that a kind lady scanned from books printed prior to 1923. I tried coloring the individual elements in the image and found that I preferred a more artsy look with different colors in the background, some special effects, and a wonderful texture.

I had a hard time deciding on a name for it since it's the first time I've done anything in this style. However, after reading the definition for "Art Nouveau", it seemed to fit well into that category. :)

Final Art Noveau "Watchful Mermaids" Image:

I was hoping to work on a few more images but didn't quite find the time. (I did enjoy spending the day with my family though! Happy 21st Birthday Tiffany!)

Etsy Banner for "Zany Zebra Designs"

I had made several headers for Amy Sue's Hyena Cart and she wanted one of them re-sized for her Etsy shop.

Below are the original header and re-sized banner for Etsy:

Mockups Divider Image for "Zany Zebra Designs"

Amy Sue wanted a little image to divide different sections on her website.

Here are a few different mockups and how they might appear on her site:

It could be cute also with maybe the zebra logo in bubbles or clouds? Let me know what you think!

Mockups for "zingee zou"

lili wanted a different font for the header, the header text moved to the right, and a different shade of orange for the main table background. She also gave me a link to some palette colors she wanted to try (thanks so much for the link! Very helpful!)

Mockup 1:
- wonton font
- text lower right
- font effects

Mockup 2:
- beautiful font
- text lower right
- font effects

Mockup 3:
- same as 2, but with a thin red-orange border around header

Mockup 4:
- dark brown header background
- embellishment next to text

Mockup 5:
- same as 4 but header slightly shorter and no font effects

Let me know what you think!

I also thought I'd put together a couple of different color palettes that match lily's beautiful hand-painted background.

Preliminary Mock-up for "zingee zou"

lili is focusing her "zingee zou" shop on jewelry and metal work. She wanted a site that incorporated earthy colors (browns, burnt orange, silver, etc.) and a header with a unique font.

Here's the preliminary mock-up to get an idea of where to go from here.

Animated Banner for "PNPBaby"

Today I designed the animated banner for "PNPBaby", created some vendor headers for "Avant-Garde", finished up some details on "lili lutu", and started on the design for "zingee zou".

Here's the finished animated banner for PNPBaby. I think it turned out rather nicely! And most importantly, Meaghan loves it. :)
